Main Features of the App:

  • Around 8000 foods properly categorized into food groups
  • All food listings available offline and for free
  • Complete nutritional details of each food item with all possible household food measurements
  • To see household measurements, please refer to the app screenshots above
  • Ability to mark food items as favorites and add them to the grocery list
  • Macronutrient Intake Calculator (Note: this feature is for calculating nutrient requirements rather than serving as a daily nutrients planner)
  • Body Mass Index Calculator
  • Option to hide ads for free
  • Data for all food items obtained from USDA*

You can also find cholesterol level information on a food's nutrient details page. The quantity of nutrients provided is based on 100 grams of each food, and further nutritional details can be viewed for each item.

How to Get Household Measurements of Food:

To see household measurement units for any food item and access its complete nutritional details, please follow these steps:

  1. Select any food item on the foods listing page to view its detailed description and full nutrient breakdown
  2. On the detailed nutrient view page, click on the large rectangle (please refer to the third screenshot above) and select the required measurement (some foods may have only one measurement option), which will then be displayed in the rightmost column

The data has been meticulously selected from the extensive database of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), which contains a substantial amount of data on over 8000 foods.

Disclaimer:

We do not endorse any specific food items; our aim is solely to list foods that have zero or very low sodium content. PLEASE CONSULT WITH YOUR DOCTOR OR ANOTHER QUALIFIED HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONAL BEFORE INCORPORATING ANY FOODS LISTED WITHIN THIS APP INTO YOUR DIET.
